Climate change, comfort and Chopping at City University
This week our Policy and External Affairs Director, Garry Felgate was invited to give a guest lecture for the MSc Energy and Environmental Technology programme at City University.
Garry spoke about the energy trilemma, the recent IPCC report on climate change and the importance of managing domestic energy in reaching our emission reduction goals.
Moving on to talk about the work of The Chopping Company, Garry covered the inefficient nature of how we control our homes and how this doesn’t take comfort into account.
For more detail on The Tricky Notion of Comfort, take a look at our recent piece from Professor Doug King.
